We've been in the vacation property rental business for years and have found a new way to meet the needs of resort community property owners and guests. We have been successful in renting our properties directly to visitors - and we have experienced some of the challenges of working with traditional property management companies. From our experience and success to date we've put together an arrangement that works for everyone.

We work on a non-exclusive basis, and property owners have the right to terminate our working relationship at any time. There are no restrictive contracts. In addition to our business in Deer Valley, Utah - we've been in business for years in Colorado in Vail, Beaver Creek, Aspen, Snowmass, Steamboat, Winter Park, Breckenridge and are launching our services in Telluride in 2007.

  

 

Here's what's different about working with Deer Valley Rentals By Owner, and why it might be the right solution for you:

  • We are NOT property managers. We do most of the challenging work for you - finding the right guests for your home, and finalizing all terms.

  • We never handle your funds as the guest makes payments directly to you.

  • You receive funds PRIOR to the guest's arrival

  • Our fees are lower than traditional property management's fees

  • Owners have the opportunity to speak to the guests to make ensure we've made a right match of owner and guest

  • Home owners are required to collect lodging tax for all rentals shorter than 30 nights. We encourage homeowners to use HotSpotTax service as an easy way to file lodging tax with the appropriate tax districts. For more information on HotSpotTax, call 877.589.0207.
